Immigration

Admission as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and the issue of a practising certificate do not entitle a person who is not a New Zealand citizen to work in New Zealand.

Immigration information can be obtained from the Consular Officer of any New Zealand Embassy or High Commission, or from the New Zealand Immigration Service, PO Box 4130, Wellington, +64 4 473 9100, Fax +64 4 495 6363 or www.immigration.govt.nz

The web portal, www.worksite.govt.nz, combines the resources of various New Zealand Government agencies to provide a one-stop information portal relevant for people planning to immigrate to New Zealand. Topics covered include education, training, career planning, finding work, finding staff and establishing a business in New Zealand.
